Snare Strings
Classic
We chose a Spanish-style snare using guitar strings for a more classic and refined range of sound.
Free to choose
Get your ideal tone through the adjustable string system, containing of 2 sets with 2 guitar strings in each set. Subtle adjustments to the side screws allow you to tighten or loosen the snare strings to get the sound you want out of you cajon, with more or less of a snapping sound in the snare and in the bass.
Vyper Plate
In order to provide accurate treble and nimble bass sounds, we researched and engineered the new Vyper Plate soundboard especially for the Black Mamba.
It's constructed using 2.7mm plywood of noble natural ivory wood.
We applied an Italian lacquer layer with a 5% gloss finish to the Vyper Plate in order to ensure protection, durability and a smooth feel.

A whole lot of beauty and quality
We constructed the body of the Black Mamba using 9mm plywood from tropical wood, applying 45º screwless glued joints between the instrument parts and finished the body closure with a high precision a 9mm flexible Kapok wood backplate.
The sleek classic black finish was done in acrylic lacquer, topped off with a high-protection 5% gloss Italian acrylic lacquer bursting with silver metallic particles, providing a stunning shiny reflection when exposed to direct light.
New reach
The corners slightly away from the front plate are a signature on all our cajones. This spacing allows you to explore sharp flan and slap sounds. This is a rather unique type of treble that renders a crisp resonating snap and greater dynamics when playing music.

We've enhance the Mamba's powerful bass even further through the enhanced duct-shaped sound output.

ABS Mic System
We have developed the innovative ABS Mic System, which is a practical and intelligent solution for electric pickups in cajones. Easy to remove, this system suspends the dynamic mic using elastic bands and absorbs any unwanted impact coming from the body of the instrument, freeing-up the microphone for a cleaner capture of the sound.
